Financial Aid & FAFSA 

Financial aid for college comes in different forms.  Check out the College Foundation of NC or talk with your school guidance counselor for more information.

FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and it's a tool to help you apply for scholarships. 







In order to graduate from high school students are required to have 28 credits.


The Course Requirements for the state of North Carolina are as follows:

4 units of English

4 units of Math

3 units of Science

4 units of History

1 unit required of Freshman PE

2 units of World Language (if you plan on going to a four-year college)

10 Elective courses


12 Elective Courses (if you do not plan to take World Language)



28 Credits
